WHAT IS YOGA?

Simple question – many answers

Yoga can work on many levels combining postures for the body, breathing practices, sound and meditative techniques to help concentrate the mind

It can bring a sense of mental and physical wellbeing, and it is thought may assist in alleviating dis-ease in the body be that injury, illness or emotional disturbance

Gifted to us from the East, Yoga’s modern application is as relevant today as it was 1500 years ago, providing support for vitality and health as well as offering a path for self discovery

Regardless of age, ability, gender, culture or religion yoga is for everyone
